Where Growth Takes Shape across Texas
Counseling does not require you to have the right words, a clear plan, or everything figured out before you walk through the door. Sometimes you simply know that something in your life, relationships, or within yourself needs to change.
At The Foundry, counseling is a collaborative process built around understanding where you are, identifying the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and developing practical ways to move forward. Whether you are navigating relationship concerns, anxiety, life transitions, betrayal, family stress, or simply trying to understand yourself more clearly, the work is tailored to you.
We believe meaningful change is rarely about becoming an entirely different person. It is about gaining insight, strengthening what is already there, and intentionally shaping what comes next.
Forged in the fire. Shaped for the future.
Individual Therapy Intake
$180
An extended 75-minute initial counseling session designed to allow more time than a traditional appointment for us to discuss your history, current concerns, goals, and what brings you to counseling. The additional time provides space to establish a strong foundation for treatment without feeling rushed through the first meeting.
Couples Counseling Intake
$250
A focused 100-minute split session designed to begin couples counseling with time dedicated to understanding each partner’s perspective, relationship history, concerns, and goals. This extended first session helps establish a clearer picture of the relationship and provides a strong foundation for future couples work.
Ongoing Individual & Couples Counseling
$125
A 50-minute counseling session focused on your current needs, goals, and ongoing progress. Sessions provide dedicated space to process challenges, build practical skills, explore patterns, and continue the therapeutic work established during your initial appointment.
Why Cash Pay?
Cash pay offers greater flexibility in how counseling is structured, allowing treatment decisions to be based on your needs rather than insurance requirements.
Greater flexibility
Session length, frequency, and treatment approach can be tailored more freely to the individual or couple.
More privacy
Your care is not routinely submitted to an insurance company for authorization or reimbursement, offering an additional layer of privacy around treatment.
Fewer administrative restrictions
Insurance plans may place limits on covered services, session structure, diagnoses, or medical necessity. Cash pay allows the focus to remain on the work you came to counseling to address.
More choice in your care
You and your counselor can determine what is clinically appropriate and useful without allowing coverage decisions to dictate the course of treatment.
Cash pay does not mean less structure or accountability. It simply provides more freedom to create a counseling experience that fits the needs of the person or relationship in the room.
